"The Bet" is the sixth episode of the third season of Recess, which was first broadcast on September 25, 1999.

Summary

T.J. bets Vince his 60 best Señor Fusion comics for 10 of Vince's mystery books that he cannot go without winning every game he plays for one day, because they are all tired of Vince's un-sportmanlike attitude.

Unfortunately, Vince takes his losing competitively, and starts acting even worse as a graceful loser than he did as an ungraceful winner.

Goofs

  • Coloring error: When Vince is trying to lose against Cornchip Girl, her hair is red.

  • This is the first episode where Timmy is referred to by name.
  • This episode was paired up with "Partners in Crime" outside the US. 
  • This is the only episode where the gang are shown wearing gym clothes. Other times in the series when they have gym class, they're wearing their usual outfits.
