Plot[]

Summary[]

What do the Kindergartners have planned for T.J. when they capture him?

Main Story[]

T.J. and Vince are walking and arguing about baseball players when they suddenly find themselves in a wooded area of the playground they have never been to before. Realizing that they are in the older forgotten recess grounds, they are too late as T.J. is suddenly caught up in a netted trap. Vince hides and discovers that the trap was set up by the Kindergartners who come and chase Vince away until he is found by Spinelli. Vince suffers from heavy remorse over leaving T.J. behind who has been taken away. They spend the recess trying to find T.J. and pick up clues on where he and the kids could have gone.

Meanwhile, T.J. is forced to live like the Kindergartners such as finger painting, taking midday naps and other infantile activities that he finds himself enjoying. The Gang eventually find T.J., but he has completely converted into a Kindergartner. Vince eventually reaches through to him with his baseball card and he breaks down sobbing while the Kindergartners leave dejectedly. Back to his old self, T.J. admits that he had fun with the Kindergartners. Gretchen informs him that they too will eventually grow out of their ways and become first graders. T.J. is left to reflect on this as King Sticky wistfully waves goodbye to him.
