When wandering into the woods with Vince, T.J. is captured by the kindergarteners after happening upon the abandoned playground. T.J. is then shown the glories of being a kindergartener whilst Vince and the gang set out to find and rescue him. But when they find him, he isn't quite the same as he used to be...


  • Coloring error: When T.J. joins the kindergarteners, he has blue face paint under his eyes. However, during the scene where Vince and the others are trying to convince him to come back, his face paint turns red.


  • The old abandoned playground is seen for the first time. It returns in Recess: All Growed Down.
