Goofs

  • Animation/continuity error: During the opening scene, T.J. is sitting closely beside Gretchen. Once perspective changes to focus on Gretchen, T.J. is missing.
  • Animation/continuity error: During the opening scene, the background behind Gretchen has the staircase towards the right. Once perspective changes to focus her replying to Gus, the staircase is pointing towards the left.
  • Animation/continuity/consistency error: During the opening scene, food and objects on the trays at cafeteria lack consistency.
  • Coloring/consistency error: During the second scene at the cafeteria, when Spinelli points at Vince claiming he had spent a lot of time with Principal [Peter] Prickly, her skin color is lighter than usual.
  • Animation/continuity/consistency error: While the gang are standing on the bars hemisphere, the hemisphere has a yellow cap on top. During one of the scenes where Mikey is visible and Gretchen is seen from behind, the cap is missing.
  • Dialogue/consistency error: 98th Street School is incorrectly referred to as 89th Street School in this episode, seeing as how Paul Prickly was principal of the rival school.

Allusions

  • When the kids tease Vince for playing golf with Principal Prickly, they sing, "Vince and Prickly standing on a green, P-U-T-T-I-N-G." It is an allusion to the song they sing when they tease Gretchen for being Geoffery's girlfriend in "The Pest".
