Tony Jay (February 2, 1933-August 13, 2006) was a legendary voice actor in the Recess franchise. Outside of Recess, he did the voice of Shere Khan from The Jungle Book franchise, Judge Claude Frollo in The Hunchback of Notre Dame, and Spiderus in Miss Spider's Sunny Patch Friends. He passed away in 2006 due to his critical illness.
