"Yope from Norway" is the twenty-ninth episode of the fourth season of Recess, which was first broadcast on February 20^th, 2000.

Gus becomes jealous of Yope, a Norwegian transfer student who claims Gus is his special friend.

Animation error: When Yoke gets out of the Janitor Shed and Gus says "Hey you win!", Gus watch is drawn right side up, but it should be upside down due to his hand orientation.
Animation error: When Gus is telling T.J. that Lawson started hanging out with Yope, T.J. has four freckles on his cheek instead of three.
Crediting error: Paul Dooley is accidentally credited as "Paul Pooley".
Factual error: Yope claims that tetherball was "inwented" in his country (Norway), but tetherball was actually invented in England.

Bonkey makes his first appearance in this episode.
There was originally going to be a scene where Miss Grotke is attempting to speak Norwegian to Yope, but the scene was cut due to time constraints.
This episode was cut from the Italian dub.
